Currently I’m a PhD Student at University of Minho (Portugal), developing my work at Life and Health Sciences Research Institute. My research focus on uncovering and understanding new trends in the HIV-1 epidemic in Portugal. With a great focus on molecular Data Analysis and Tool Building. I’m also part of Data Science Portugal, a non-profit organization focused on community building and knowledge sharing in the fields of Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Previously (Master Thesis), I have worked on computer-aided Drug Design of potential Protein Kinase inhibitors.
